Here you go - some of my favorites...

Karen Foster's easter line. Paper Salon - dyed elastic - this falls under the "why didn't I think of that?" category.
Elsie Flannagin's line for KI Memories. Too cute. Gotta get my hands on some of this...
Doodlebug's Black and White Collection - of all the black and white patterned paper we saw there, this was my favorite one... (and let me tell you - there was a TON of black and white patterned paper.)
Hambly Studios - cool cool overlays and rub ons. Amazing.
Imagination Project. LOVED almost all of their new releases, but this was my favorite. Cool.
New Heidi Swapp masks... lots of potential for these. Love the bird. There were birds everywhere...
Heidi Grace has done it again. She is one amazing designer. LOVE her flocked and glittered papers. She had a paper line with mushrooms on it. Cute little toadstool mushrooms - like people used to tole paint in the 70's. (And guess what? There were owls everywhere too... weird!)
All in all, it was an amazing show. There was some great stuff. Miles and miles of great stuff.
Love this industry.
Love it.
Love my job.
I had a great time with Kathy, my boss. We get along so well. That's a great thing.
I'm so blessed.
I got to meet some internet buddies... for the first time ever.
And now I'm back home with lots of ideas and inspiration and projects to create.
Loads of ideas in my head.
My brain is full.
My heart is happy.
Have a great weekend, friends!

  1. The Heidi Grace line looks wonderful! It's the kind of stuff I'll just want to hoard. So glad you had a nice time, C :) And that you made it back home all safe and sound.

  2. Well, well, dyed elastic. That is just too cool. Kinda like ribbon but stretchy. Wow! What'll they think of next? Thanks for keeping me up to date on what is new in the industry :)

Everything looks so pretty. I'm glad you had fun and I"m glad you're back.

Happy Birthday Cathy! , originally uploaded by Pink Paper Peppermints . All of these sweet bloggy friends threw me a cyber-birthday party! How fun is that? Thank you, dear friends. I am touched. It's really just what I needed today. Sweet Tanya even made me a cake. If you want to follow the party around cyber-space, you can go to Melissa's blog to see everyone who is participating.

Getting to know you Wednesday

So it's been awhile. But I thought hearing from ya'll might cheer up my little snow encrusted Spokane self. So today, if I get at least 12 comments, I'll randomly pick one and send that lucky commenter any CD from Your Music . Whatever you want. So today, in light of mid-winter doldrums, I want you to answer the following three questions. To escape mid-winter doldrums, I like to: My favorite winter memory is: I know Spring is coming when: Okay, friends. Now it's your turn. Go to it.

The floodgates have opened.

So, I was doing pretty well managing my emotions. I kept telling people that I had processed a lot of my grieving over Tejan's departure back in January - when we were so close to saying goodbye... and so that must be why I wasn't feeling overly emotional about it this time around. I hadn't shed any tears. Hadn't choked up in that strange, overwhelming way where I feel like my whole head is filling up with fluid and my throat is so constricted I'm just sure I'm going to die. Nope. I was doing just fine. And then I went out to dinner with some girlfriends. And while I was a little socially inept because I'm a kind of overwhelmed and not really wanting to talk too much lately (perhaps in subconscious fear that I might touch on a nerve that would cause my aforementioned steely resolve to crumble) I thought I got through the evening fairly well. I didn't tear up - or need tissue for any fluids defiantly leaking from my facial orifices... until I made the a...
