Five on Friday

  1. Savannah got her braces this week. She won't let me anywhere near her with a camera yet.. she really doesn't like the way they look. I'm not pushing it. But let me tell you, she looks adorable with them on. Her teeth are really sore and we're having to cut all her food up really small... but it seems to be a little better this morning. Poor baby.
  2. I will be in Africa in two weeks. Can you even believe it? I'm feeling like there are probably all sorts of things I should be doing, but I don't know what they are. Weird. I'm simply dying to see T.
  3. Asia's travel schedule is completely over the top. He's in the middle of a stint where he'll sleep in his own bed two nights in 16 days. Nuts. I miss him.
  4. I'm missing blogging lately. Maybe that means I'll start doing it again soon. I went back and read last November's posts and it made me really want to get back in the groove. We'll see.
  5. I'm off to Target this morning to buy birthday presents for my sweet daughter. She'll be 12 on Tuesday. Where does the time go?
Smooches to those of you who still check in to see if I'm going to write anything...

  1. Of course we check in. Wouldn't want to miss anything ! It's just a daily routine.
Mailed something for you to take to Tejan yesterday. Also Savannah's b'day present.
    Hugs to you all.

  2. I thought it said that you miss bologna lately. I'm so glad it's blogging and not bologna.

You're going to AFRICA! So excited for yoU!

  3. Cathy - is there anything I can send that you can take to T? We don't have much cash right now but maybe I can come up with something.School supplies?

We wait patiently for you posts. Like to keep up.

Both my kids had braces, tylenol is your friend...but really after the initial adjustments they didn't complain much. Hopefully Savannah is feeling better soon. :)

  4. Hi, Cathy! I can't believe you are leaving in two weeks already! So excited for you :0)
I have to say I understand the whole husband and travel thing. Mike's schedule has been so crazy the past two years! Sometimes I really miss the days of having him home every night!

I love it when people talk back...
