Ladies and Gentlemen, I present: THE CHICKENS!

I tried to find a video that had a better version of the beginning part of the chicken dance... the room was so dark during the opening, and while they were backlit and looked awesome in person, it didn't pick up too well on the video.

Nevertheless, you can get the general idea of how the performance went.

Now - prepare yourself for some high entertainment...

    Oh my goodness! I finally got around to watching this. This is so funny. Loved the Theme to 2001 to start it off. I'm proud to be one of the chicken's uncle.

Good morning, peeps. It's Friday. There's frost outside this morning. *FROST!* This week has been ridiculously chilly. I'm having mixed feelings about blogging lately. Mostly because I feel like all I've been doing is whine about being tired. Or overwhelmed. And because comments are lacking. And because I can't seem to think about anything to write about except Tejan. And because some of the thoughts I'm having are too private for the blog - or too repetitive. Missoula Children's Theater

Last week Savannah and Ethan were both cast in their school's Missoula Children's Theater production of Red Riding Hood. Savannah was cast as Mother Hood and the Grandmother, and Ethan was Robin Hood - the Hood family's cousin from England. After five days of intense rehearsing, (four and a half hours every day after school) they were ready for two shows on Saturday afternoon. It was so fun for them. And fun for me, as I was one of two parent volunteers with the privilege of being at every rehearsal. I come from my own childhood experience of many opportunities with theater and musicals, so watching them experience the thrill of performing was awesome. It was an amazing week. I'm so glad they had the chance to do it. I loved that instead of having to commit to weeks and weeks of rehearsals, they just had to do this one really intense week.
