Ten reasons I'm ready for summer

1. No one will wake me up at 6:00 am saying "Mom, I totally forgot about a project that's due today... do we have any poster board?"
2. I won't have to pack three lunches by 8:00 am.
3. The lake.
4. Movies downstairs in the basement on hot days.
5. Lazy mornings.
6. No school newpaper deadlines hanging over my head.
7. Reading books on a blanket at the park.
8. Evening walks with my husband.
9. Fresh flowers on my table all summer long.
10. Fresh fruit and salads every day.
